This fight was announced on May 2nd. The actual fight isnt till July 18th. How is 2 1/2 months not enough time to promote a fight?

I see it this way. If Floyd/Marquez does poor numbers, it will certainly hurt Floyd's bargaining power at the negotiation table with Pac since its Floyd who constantly likes to use ppv #'s as a negotiating tool.

Floyd is acting like it's Pac who needs him.
      Pac doesn't need this clown.
Pac can just go ahead and fight Cotto or Mosley.
But for Floyd, who else is he gonna fight.?
We all know he ain't going near any of the top WW's.
      He scuuuuuurrrrrrdddddd!

But when Pac asks for 65 - 35 thats not ducking, of course not

you know what's NOT gonna happen?

        the fight

pacquiao will end up fighting cotto at 145, then he'll fight edwin valero at 140

        then he'll retire

and for the rest of his life, although both are to be blamed for not making the fight, Floyd will take the most heat....

Who'd be interested in seeing Pacquiao face zoombie versions of SSM and Cotto? Especially SSM, who doesn't look like he can make 145, let alone 142.

Very true. Right now, Pac has many more options than Floyd. Floyd is gonna have to drop the ego if he wants to fight the other top dogs in the sport. These guys arent just gonna bend over for him.

It will happen if PBF beat JMM. It will be around 52-48 for Pac. Pac could go as High as 55% if PBF-JMM will not sell good.

But The thing with JMM is he over achieved more than what I expected off him. I thought Pac will annihilate him in the rematch but He hangon & Give Pac his most competitive fights. Then he keeps following Pac up to the weight classes & Becoming an exciting fighter.

If Castillo give PBF 2 tough fights, then I will not be surprise if JMM gives PBF a tougher fight than what castillo did. If I'm a betting man on JMM-PBF, I'll put my Money in a Draw. That way Pac can still fight both guys. Or JMM might Prove he's really one of the Greats & Beat PBF. Then forget Pac-PBF negotiations!!

Floyd will definitely be the one getting the short end of the straw in the negotiations. Pac is the man right now and he's the only one who will generate the kind of money Floyd is looking for.

Off topic, how many people bought the Hatton/Pacman fight in the US?

Options have value and Floyd has bigger options than Manny.Floyd is making $15m fighting Marquez ,he will make more fighting Mosley or Cotto.Believe me Manny wont get $10m fighting Cotto or Mosley,he wont get $8m fighting Valero so who has better options.
Everyone has got options but how much are the options worth?Tell me how much do you think Pacqiao will get fighting Cotto or Mosley or Valero
Floyd is a man given to much authority,to Cotto & Mosley he says come and they cometh.
