Thing is, Floyd needs to bear in mind that he has been inactive for 1.5 years and Pacquiao didn't move up in weight until recently. Could it be the reason why he doesn't mention Mayweather too often? I think so. I mean, he's only just come up to the weight, so why would he call out Mayweather or talk about fighting him while still being a Featherweight or a lightweight? Really, he's still not even a legit Welter. 140 is his ideal weight, it's the perfect balance of power, speed, and not having to drain the body too much.
Manny aint the kinda fighter that calls other people out anyway in my opinion, there is no shame in that... Manny would fight anybody and is not afraid of any fighter, but he just doesn't call people out too often I have noticed...

Like I was saying, Pacquiao didn't even move up from lightweight until 5 months ago and he's fought at 140 since then, so been busy with the Hatton fight. Arum would have been unlikely to make offers to fighters in higher weight classes when his fighter hadn't even moved up.

      5 months. Give it time.

        Margarito and crew offered Floyd...
Shane Mosley is willing to get down to business.

Cotto's camp hasn't pursued a fight and neither has Manny's. I'm sure any of the 4 would fight Floyd but its not ducking if Floyd was never made an offer.

There is no reason Floyd-Cotto shouldn't have fought tho...
Well, in fairness... Arum couldn't really offer Floyd a fight yet, he has still gotta fight JMM... he can't really offer Floyd a fight when that one hasn't finished yet.

Exactly, Spacey, you got it. I firmly believe Manny will fight anyone they put in front of him. He leaves his team to work out the details and isn't a loudmouth calling out fighters and threatening them and ****. Manny is unbelievably respectful, and honestly, I love that.

At the end of the day, he will say "I would like to fight so and so", that aint calling out to me... it is declaring interest, no shame in him not calling out fighters, just like there is no shame in people calling out fighters (with the acception of Carl 'The ****head' Froch calling out Calzaghe of course).

I think, Pacquiao would fight anyone... I don't think he is scared of anyone, just not the type of guy to call people out... that's it really.
