I would rather retire on top, with plenty of money and not have any health problems in the future.

Well, if you fight the best fighters and engage in entertaining fights, the money will still probably be pretty good and you can make big money if you have charisma so option 2.

That was a hard question. But I agree with you, it is my belief that we do a job for our family, and enjoy their presence till old age. Not being blind or have palsy while doing that.

...unless of course, it is your destiny to be a legend, and unless you are God`s messenger for the people around the world to see you pray and be a raw model for youngsters and oldsters alike.

This is how I'm thinking and it's just if I would think with each mind-set

If I was an atheist; option one is the best.

If I were to believe in something more to life; option two is best.

I'd rather get paid millions for an easier nights work than have an all out war for similar money.

But I'd want to be remembered for my exciting fights. So its a hard choice.

              It depends.

If I'm fighting the best guys, am I still making a lot of money?

If I'm involved in wars, how is my health?

Everyone talks about legacy, but what about the legacy to your kids and grandkids (making a lot of money so they are set for life)? That's a more important legacy than legacy as an athlete.

I'd like to think I'd care a lot about being the best, but if it's between fighting the best guy for $500k and a lesser fighter for $5 mil, I'm taking the latter.

Being the best doesn't take care of your family's bills and ensure your kids are set for life. Money does.

It has to be the top one cuz you don't want to be a punch bag when your older cuz your skint and can't pay your rent e.g Mike Tyson

I pick option one except i wouldn't go around calling myself the best when i haven't faced the best opposition =)
