IMO PAC will never beat a real welter, he was a great light weight & makes an ok JW but not a real welter. His fans can talk all the ignorance they want but PAC will never beat a real welter & I bet floyd is gonna wanna fight at 147, I don't like floyd but PAC won't beat him at 147

As an intelleget, aware boxing fan, I know that this is exactly what Pac should be doing. And the fact Manny is doing this just goes to show that Floyd did the right thing in signing a fight with JMM.

Sure a fight with Floyd or Marquez could still happen, but if he lost to Cotto or Mosley(2 really meaningless fights), then it'll have less significance. Right now, wait for Floyd-Marquez, 2 fighters that both mean a lot for him either one he beats. Marquez to settle who really was the better man or Floyd to say whose the greatest of this era. I'd say go with Floyd IMO since he does technically hold a win over Marquez whether u agree or not. There's no real point to any other fight at this time in his career. Once he faces either fighter, he can retire soundly. Anyone else asking for 5 more fights out of him just because you just turned on boxing after his Oscar or Hatton win obviously have no idea of his past.

Pacman can fight Timothy Bradley (140lbs) as a step to unite the Light Welterweight belts in October 2009, Mayweather (145 lbs) for P4P title in February 2010 (after long discussion on money split) and Clottey (147 lbs) June 2010 for spectacular 7th weight class belt after Clottey defeat Moseley.
Call it a career. A fight return against Marquez (145 lbs) as a comeback from their retirements will be welcome in 2012.
