    Is JMM making a mistake...?

I think he's making a mistake in the way he's moving up to 144... he's talking about adding muscle so he can match Floyd for strength, but doing so will be effecting his speed, and possibly stamina. I would've thought he'd follow what Pac did more-so, coming in lighter to maximise the factors that are in his favour...

What do you think? Should he stay light for speed, or bulk up for power and strength?

it's one of those damned if you damned if you dont scenario's isn't it?

On one hand, if he's stronger but loses speed he might not be able to catch floyd flush. On the other hand if he's fast and has no power it wont really matter if he gets him flush.

My guess is adding muscle is the right thing to do. I think the only way Marquez could possible beat mayweather is to be too physical for him, rough him up. Theres no way he could equal floyd's speed anyway.

Nah I'm sure he won't overdo it. He's surrounded by people who are more educated on the subject than us

Comparing him & Pac are apples & oranges. Pac weighed in lighter but he still put on 10 pounds after the weigh-in so its not like he was a lighter guy in the ring. He weighed as much as anyone else at 140. JMM will probably weigh-in at 142 and be 146 in the ring while Floyd is 148 or 9 in the ring

                    I suppose.

However, I always viewed JMMs best chances here as being if Floyds timing is slightly off, he could catch him, and bag some rounds, and maybe pull out a close Decision. I don't think planning to hurt him, or be stronger will work... May is used to these weights, JMM ain't.

If what I've read is trus (Regarding him bulking up), I think he's actually deminishing his chances a bit tbh.
