This is not a straight question Mellow, I know you hate Margarito for allegedly cheating in his fight with Cotto. But you are not putting a few important things in perspective.

First of you say who is the bigger draw, when Antonio is not even active anymore and with that right there you can tell that you just want to see Cotto suceed in at least one thing, while Margarito is already down.

Furthermore, like every other poster said on here including me, Cotto ain't a world wide draw. Cotto is an MSG/New York/East Coast draw, Margarito is a Staples Center/California/West Coast draw. They were on par in drawing crowds in their home/close to home.

Mr Miguel Cotto, the big draw that you're making him out to be is nothing but a mere C level attraction compared to an active boxer like Ricky Hatton/Manny Pacquiao.

Before i get angry Ricans on me no, I give props to Cotto for his 12k by himself at MSG. It's by himself because I know there's gonna be no support for Clottey there, It's all Cotto so props to him for his drawing power in the eve of PR parade. The least Cotto can do is sell out MSG in the eve of Puerto Rican Day Parade.

dude do not tell me what the crowd was like if you were not there. That crowd was margarito's and it wasn't even close! I thought the cotto fight was huge where it was about 8-2 or 9-1 in favor of margarito. During the shane fight you'd see 100 people before you seen one mosley fan. Shane has NEVER been a draw! His fight with mayorga was a failure and a loss of money for GBP. They had an attendance of less than 3,000. margarito sold out that same arena years before that when he wasn't that big yet and he was fighting someone who is still a no draw in paul williams.

Sounds like a biased assumption to me.

I'm not trying to discredit your opinion just to do it, I'm telling you from people who actually attended the event and all 4 stated it wasn't a full Margarito crowd. Whether you think I'm lying is up to you considering it makes no difference to me who is and was the bigger draw.

Fact is Margarito prior to his fight with Cotto wasn't doing any kind of numbers (for whatever that's worth to you) and he didn't sell out Staples Center on his own. Keep in mind who was promoting that fight and where the fight was held. Don't be so naive.
