Exactly, that is what makes a great fighter great.

I was watching Sugar Ray Leonards amatuer and olympic fights last night and this evening and Ray never faught the same fight twice. The amazing thing about Leonard was that as an olympian, you don't have the luxury of studing your opponents and if you watch his olympic bouts, he fuaght every fight with a very different approach and this is why the man won his gold. He even went to war big time against the power punching Cuban and knocked him out to win the gold

This thread shows how little people know about Miguel Cotto, people see him as some sort of brawler but if you look at his amateur fights or his early fights and even some of his later fights you'll see he is more a boxer that doesn't mind getting tangled up in a brawl. I mean look at the Cotto - Bailey fight and you'll see his effective movement.

Cotto was in full flight in the Championship rounds against Shane.

Cotto was in full flight but don't forget who changed their strategy first, it was Shane who switch it up and then Cotto switch it up too. You had a fight in which both fighters were trying to adapt to the situation in the ring. A great fight and a rematch is in order.

Cotto couldn't handle Shane on the inside and had to bail.

Cotto dominated Shane on the inside but the thing is Shane also adapts to fighters so he changed strategy which prompted Cotto to change his strategy to dominating Shane on the outside.

Shane was hurting him on the inside..that's why he started running.

He started the Margarito fight the same way he ended the Shane fight..ie...IN FULL FLIGHT.

I believe Shane was on his bike being he couldn't hurt Cotto as he kept coming forward. It was a smart game plan to throw Mosley off by Boxing him the rest of the way which made Cotto look that much better.

But go ahead, let the insults fly. They're fun to read

Cotto was the one getting hurt..look at the 10th round.

A Shane right hands makes Cotto do a hula-dance...Estevez conveniently stops the action to whipe the floor..

Shane walked thru everything Cotto had.
