Bringing up amateur fights is ******. Might as well say GMan owns Roy Jones' soul.

Cotto was mostly on the backfoot against Abdullaev in their pro fight as well.

Mang's gotta set a good example for his son, that complains regularly about not being taught how to put a condom on.

I only make threads when I'm ****ed up on fight nite or I'm havin a serious boxing discussions wit homies that requires outside opinions. It's become clear lately these kinda threads should just go in the dome Reign. It'll help keep NSB clean homey.

Cotto looked a lot better than Floyd did in the olympics.

Both Cotto and Floyd have Silver medals

Floyd looked sloppy, Cotto looked like the more polished fighter and Cotto was not born into the sport. Cotto wanted to play baseball and went to the gym to lose weight because he was a butter ball of a fat kid.

All I know is that Cotto beat the snot out of Mohamad Abdulaev in the pros.

This just shows that Cotto is not all that one dimmensional. I remember reading about Cotto by other people, who said Cotto was one dimmensional and only knew how to fight moving forward. Cotto is a decent fighter and has some decent tools. A new version of Cotto is about to emerge. I promise.

That's because boxing fans have really short memories, or simply don't watch enough fights.

They watch a couple fights and think those fights define their styles, as if those fighters fight like that every time.

As most fighters do, Cotto fights in a different manner depending on the opponent or situation.
