Fight Night Round 4: Whats New

Ive never seen a lot of this stuff before.

look how many stats there are for this game, its surprising. I like the fact that there are seperate stats for each hand power, and then seperate stats for punch accuracy, head movement, block strength, and reflexes(whatever that is for)
the fact that you can create a boxer by uploading their photo is just an awesome idea, I dunno how good it will work though.
The career mode looks fun too. they actually have a calender, amazing, haha.

interesting that there are seperate stats for your chin...one for an accumulation of punches, and another for single shots.

which is very smart idea. then you can get one punch KOs on certain guys, and have to wear others out.

This game hurt me alot because I wanted it, but with the current controls. I'm not paying 60 bucks for a new game when I can't even customize the controls to me likings. Today I went to the store to cancel my preorder and it hurt like a ***** but then I keep thinking about the demo and how terrible the controls were(for me personally). I have to realize graphics don't make a game no matter how pretty the graphics are in fight night round 4.

new controls? the controls are the same, you use the joystick thing.

which is way more fun than the button mashing. i tried the button gameplan once, and it really was awful. not nearly as fun.

It has been confirmed, analog only... And with how sensitive the ps3 analog stick is, you're practically throwing random punches when you want to throw certain ones you might accidentally throw a punch you didn't mean to. And then analog people are such douchebags that they get upset because people don't prefer their control scheme. They are like nerds with guns, they don't understand everyone has a different taste in the way they play games. I personally like picking my shots like throwing a jab and then a right hand.

you can throw a jab and right hand back to back easily with the analog thing.

the only time you can get the punches mixed up with it is with the uppercuts and hooks, and thats rare.

I'm glad you love your little dinky analog stick, thats all great and dandy but I prefer the buttons and I'm not a ****ing button masher if I'm picking my shots. So that word, button masher is an insult to me personally. I can say the same thing about that analog stick as a brawler stick. So you don't want me to call your dinky analog stick a brawler-stick, then stop calling people who prefer buttons button mashers. I don't mash the god damn buttons, I pick my shots.

I have nothing against analog stick users, but alot of them seem like total douchebags who don't understand that everyone likes to play the game a different way. Its nice you got your way, with your analog controls but I personally prefer picking my shots with the buttons not button mashing.
