    Manny - My Opinion

Manny Pacquiao is a great fighter, and he's proved this in his comprehensive anihilation of ODLH, and Ricky Hatton within the last year. His victories over David Diaz and JMM were also great fights where he displayed a lot of skill.

But there is a clear and obvious degree of delusion among his more fanatical fans, MANY of whom post on this website who seem convinced that after his last few fights he has been elevated to some kind of place where he is untouchable. He wins fights, but in MANY moments in his fights he has lousy footwork, loses his balance, throws wild punches, and displays a general lack of grace that someone like FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. could and will exploit, brutally.

PAC is a CHAMP, and I respect the hell out of him as a fighter and a champion of great humility, so I don't want to hear all of you crazy pac fans start your ****ing crazy defensive bitching, and just try to use your heads.

Your boy is a great fighter, he's aggressive and he's pulled out some good wins in the last year - but you're ****ing delusional if you think that the Manny Pac who beat ODLH and HATTON can beat Mayweather. Full credit for those victories, but the opponents he was facing had nowhere near the timing, boxing intelligence, and speed that Mayweather has and UNLESS Manny and Freddy Roach can improve Manny even more, WHICH THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO DO, I'm not saying it's impossible, but unless they really improve some parts of his game you can and should expect Mayweather to pick Manny's bull-headed aggresion apart with clean shots all night.

Funny how quick people elevate their fighters after a couple of good wins. Reality always brings ya back down.

Be careful, you might get red k'd for even complimenting Manny. I got red K'd by Pinoys for a post I made giving props to Manny Pacquiao

Pac's a beast. Dude's a complete fighter, makes excitin fights, got a lotta heart, got an ill resume. But for all of that, I think Mr boat buyer beats him if they fight. And if it happens at WW which it most likely will, Mr boat buyer wins by KO.

I think to be honest, like against Hatton at times in the 2nd round he did show some wild punch here and there and footwork wasn't up to par, but it's due to the opponent he was facing. Did you see anything wild against ODLH? He fought a perfect fight. I think it depends the level of opposition to how well he really looks. But he generally has enough fight in him to carry him through his mistakes. You say Floyd will make him pay, I don't think he's gonna make as many mistakes against Floyd, and he's gonna exploid anything Floyd does wrong such as sitting on teh ropes to shoulder roll all day. He'll time Floyd right and test that chin which I think hasn't been tested in his career.

im a big pacquiao fan but i am one to say that he still has flaws that mayweather can exploit. trust me, us filipinos still want pacquiao to improve. the only reason why some of us exaggerates him against pbf is kind of a vice versa thing with the mayweather fans. deep down inside pacquiao still needs to improve a lot, and a piece of info we worry at times when he fights because of all the distractions especially now that he is really famous.

but anyway i think that it will be a very competitive fight if he fights mayweather, but it will be really fuuucking hard for pacquiao. he shouldn't make room for error because mayweather is fuuucking good at punishing opponents for their mistakes.

i hope this fight happens before the year ends. go PACQUIAO!!!!!!

Most of the popular fighters have their share of delusional fans. Manny does, Floyd does, Cotto does, Hatton does, the Klitshcko's definitley do, Joe did and Marg did, but I don't know where they are now. Heck, even Judah and Gatti did. So why pick on Pacquiao?

Pac is good but i think him and roach have been choosing fighters that have a lack of defense... and trying to dry welterweights for his advantage is getting OLD... fight light welterweights Pac.

Anybody's not perfect and if the bout happens Floyd will be Manny's biggest test for sure. Albeit, Team Pacquiao will have the perfect plan come fight time, hopefully. Lets get it on.
