When was Tyson in his prime? Which fight would you define as to when he reached his peak?
Define 'Prime Tyson'

My definition is on his way up to the belts. Once he became undisputed he had nothing more to achieve and felt like the top Dog.
Still doesn't mean he was un beatable during those days. styles make fights and if you backed up, he'd beat you (you couldn't run forever from Mike) if you were stronger than him and stood your ground, you had a good chance of beating him.
Ruddock nearly beat him using this method, guys like Mitch Green gave him trouble (well, not trouble, but went the distance) doing this early on in his career.
If you back pedalled or couldn't overpower him, you died because he was good at anticipating counter punches. Holmes, Spinks, Berbick, Bruno, Tucker
Holyfield was particularly strong and would most likely have found a way to beat a prime Tyson as well. Lewis would have lost IMO. Guys like Foreman would be huuge trouble..although there aren't many like George, other than Rid**** Bowe.Comment

PEAK: Spinks fight.
Prime: Berbick to Spinks.
It still is a bit weird that we have to label a fighter in his prime at 20-22 years of age...but that's on Tyson for screwing up.Comment

After he left Rooney. Cus was dead by the time Tyson won the title. Maybe some of the motivation dropped but Cus was still used as a motivational tool to keep Tyson trained and motivated to stay on the road to unify the title. The next hit to Tyson was said to be the death of Jacbos. And then of course the final blow was when King came in and Tyson seperated from Rooney.Comment
