Exactly, Ricky and Oscar had plenty of opportunities to land on Floyds body, but the question is how will Cotto handle getting tagged 2-3 times everytime he throws a body shot? He will land them and do damage, but Floyd will land upstairs.

he will handle getting tagged better than when mosley was tagging him. if floyd allows cotto to land on his body so he can tagg cottos face, floyd will get hurt. cotto has been there done that as far as getting tagged to the face.

Simple question. Just curious. Those who sip the Mayweather Kool Aid seem to believe Cotto can not touch him to the body over the course of a 12 round right. So I'm asking the opinion of my objective and unbiased posters.

Cotto will have no problems getting inside. It's pretty obvious that Mayweather can't KO Miguel Cotto. His KO/TKO frequency has gone down as of recent. Most of his KOs came in his early career.

Cotto will take a shot or two to the head for the sake of getting inside and going to work. I don't think Cotto is worried about Floyds power at all to be honest. Cotto is very patient and wouldn't abandon his game plan. Margarito was able to stop an attack to the body because he has freakish Winky Wright like arms.

Cotto is not good enough defensively.. Floyd will Hit Cotto Flush..What he doesn't have in power.. his accuracy and speed make up for it.. Cotto is tough and his Chin is way underrated.. But he gets rocked.. and that's because he gets hit Flush.. Mayweather will/would be a nightmare that way..

Off course he could land a few here and there, but he would be taking 5 shots to every 1, and I think he wouldn't be able to get past the shoulder roll because he is much slower than Floyd, and you will have to eat flush shots to do work, and unlike Castillo at 135 Cotto can be hurt from counters. I would love to see Cotto get a W against Floyd, but I'm going to go with Floyd via 10th round TKO after systematically picking him apart and breaking Cotto down.

At most Floyd would land 2 shots at a time, he only throws ones and twos for the most part. Now Cotto's head movement is no joke, he's got decent defense. So Floyd tryin to pot shot would probably be useless for the most part. And runnin backwards all night along with gettin ****** to the body, lol I honestly never a saw a fight between Cotto and Floyd turnin out well for Floyd. That's why I wasn't surprised the fight never took place.

Even Ricky Hatton who have a horrible defense, was getting into teh inside without getting hit much.

Cottos double jab, will open the way to get to the inside. Floyd barely puts combinations together, let a,lone when somebody is throwing punches at him.

Cotto will get to the inside without much problems against Mayweather, because Cottos timming is top in the sport. Timming kills speed and Cottos timming, plus his jab will be a problem for Floyd. Cotto will get to the inside and he will rip Floyd to the ribs.

Lol its funny because cotto couldnt even get to margos or shanes body. So what makes you guys think that he can even touch Floyd's body. People seem to forget that floyd is a moving target. And also that his stance inhibits a body atack.
