Theres a reason why Mayweather vs Cotto never happened, Cotto would tear Floyd in half. That shoulder D leaves his body too exposed.

Exactly, Ricky and Oscar had plenty of opportunities to land on Floyds body, but the question is how will Cotto handle getting tagged 2-3 times everytime he throws a body shot? He will land them and do damage, but Floyd will land upstairs.

Yes he can, floyds defence makes it hard to land on his face but not his body. cotto hits hard to the body so it would be effective against floyd. he also has a good jab so if floyd drops his hands to block the body shots, cotto can land his jab.

Being that Floyd won't be plastered and Cotto will be in too close for Floyd to really wind up I don't see his two or three shots really buzzing Cotto. Cotto isn't going to be jumping in head first and eating ring posts or anything. Floyd has two choices, get hit with Cottos shots to the head or body. Cotto likes to play it close. Whichever he feels he needs less he will have to give up.

People put too much of Floyd counters. He is a great counter puncher, yes, but with 1 punch at a time, he rearly puts combinations together, let alone when counterting.

1 punch at a time wont do it against Cotto, like he did with Hatton and DLH.

omg this is such a myth!!!!! cotto has to get inside without getting tattooed to land to floyds body. on top of that, floyds body is solid. one shot aint gonna make a difference. Dayum man!!!!

When Mayweather rolls to his right he leaves his Liver exposed to a Body hook..
It's right there and I wonder why more guys haven't taken it.. (I know I am not in the ring so what do I know)
Go upstairs and get him to Roll.. then fire that hook off.. DLH tried it a few times but he had no power to them.. he was slapping them in.. If Cotto could land a few of those.. IF.. then he might have a chance..
