My heart is with Marquez 101%...especially when he says stuff like "He isn't a machine, he's just a man." A fighter using language like that shows me that he has thought this thing through, and truely believes he can actually win this fight. He has already completed that important step. That being said, how can you bet against Money May? Floyd may get a bit roughed up, but I still think he's a little too much for Marquez OR Pacquiao.

good point millcitymauler but it won't be enough. remember floyd is always thinking and moving. moving and thinking. the angles and accuracy going forward and backwards will be just to much for jmm. floyd will send those punches right down the middle like baby bull did but with different results.

I know, thats why this is going to be so painful for me to watch...Whether you like him or not, and I don't particularly like his public persona, Floyd is what they used to say about Gayle Sayers...Poetry In Motion. I feel privileged to have seen the guy fight as a boxing fan in this particular era.

You are 100% right. People dont want to hear that about Pac though. Yet when Mayweather proves everyone/the haters wrong again, that is then when they will turn to the size difference. and down play a win that they were all for until May pulled it off yet once again as he said he would do from the get go.

But like you said much love and respect to JMM. At least he's getting paid. Its not like he's going into an all out life and death WAR. Mayweather does not have that style...

Please see your way off the internet.
Please explain how you would pay Mayweather 15 million on a buy of 600k.

You can't. You basically don't understand real world economics.

I can tell you are very young.

It was interesting to hear Bert Sugar's take. But I remember when he was on the Baldomir-Mayweather countdown and he hyped up Baldomir as some kind of dangerous opponent for Floyd. But he's been on point in certain fights. I got on his espn chat in the lead-up to the Cotto-Margarito fight and he said he was picking Margarito because of Miguel's vulnerability to uppercuts. He was dead on about that. One good point that he makes regarding this fight is that Floyd only throws one punch at a time these days. He praised the combination punching ability of JMM which is spot on. Marquez puts sick combinations together.

                      Marquez isn't 37.

Marquez is 35...turning 36 in August.

I hate to agree with a flashy guido like paulie malignaggi...but he's absolutely right!! The only chance for Marquez to win is if Floyd has lost a few steps. And since Golden Boy is now contracted to negotiate on behalf of Floyd for his future fights, it's obviously that they'll shove their own fighter (Marquez) under the bus and do everything in their power to make the Pacquiao-Mayweather MEGAFIGHT!! So there is absolutely NO WAY FOR MARQUEZ TO WIN BY DECISION unless he makes Floyd look as old as Oscar. MARQUEZ WILL NEED A KNOCKOUT!! Anyone willing to bet their house for a Marquez win by knockout???
