Even the catch weight is gonna be a arduous negotiating battle. Not surprised if the fight doesnt happen.

i believe majority will honestly agree that manny and floyd are on even footings now in as far as popularity and crowd draw are concerned.
fans pressure will make these two face each other in the ring.
anybody's ego should be grounded just so this super mega fyt will come to fruition.
any fyter asking for more than 50% will be shamed and can be regarded by the boxing fans, critics and fans, as avoiding/ducking the fyt.
the same thing is true with the 144lbs... it is ryt in the middle of 140-147.
this fyt can happen........or it might indeed not happen.

you already consider pacquiao a great boxer, like some other scribes do.

It is really disgusting how ugly floyd argue with kenny..his mind is bloated with ****..It reminds me of ugly floyd sr. boasting a 3rd round k.o. of pacman by the hitted man hatton..he will not meet pacquiao at ring because marquez will do the upset and pacman/marquez 3 will happen..ugly floyd will be beaten by mosley and ugly boy knows it..and he is not crazy enough to do the fight with him and be beaten.Brian kenny not need to wear gloves to understand boxing otherwise the referees and judges dont understand too..you can know how ugly floyd knows boxing.run, hit and hug like a sissy..but in short they call it tactics..pity boy floyd!!

If mayweather signed a 5 fights deal w GBP, he has plenty of chances to secure his legacy. Pacquiaos megafight needs to happen because that's what people want, but for me that would be "the money fight" not a legacy fight. He needs to beat the top WW to secure his legacy and shut peoples mouths. Hopefully he can land both Cotto and Mosley in 2010, I hope he's focused in doing that. My boy is Cotto though, Id like to see him crush both Pacman and Mayweather.
PS. It's a shame that JMM isnot taken seriously against mayweather, he's on my top 3 favorites right now, he's against the odds obviously but he can make a good fight w intelligence and big heart.

I am with a feeling that Mayweather is not the same and will fail badly in one of those "5 fights".

But i really would enjoy if Mayweather proves that he is what he thinks he is! He would be another boxing legend.
