Thanks for turning this thread into a natural weight, fight night thread.
Damn you and all your alts.Comment

For a reason that should be familiar to you.
More money.
FFsakes...
Are you going to tell me that Bradley, Nate, Joan or Holt
would bring as much money as Mosley or Cotto?
Miguel Cotto's already signed off on 145, so he's option A.

remember roach is not just the trainer he is also part-manager/part-promoter for pac.
he's not gonna say pacquiao can still make 130 but just doesn't want to.
plus......with arum having a guy with a belt at 135. it was a no choice really.
it sounds better to say pacquiao is moving up to challenge a 135 champ because manny can't make 135 anymore rather than to say we're moving up to 135 because we have a nice tuneup fight available that can get us another belt.Comment

This has been mentioned numerous times in this thread already yet it's still somehow a question.

Cuz them n!ggas dont bring money, they dont bring numbers. Pac is the main attraction, he the money boy now so he commands and calls the shots. He so big dog that he can even make people fight at a weight he feels like. He put his work in the lighter weights now he's the boss
Floyd is sorta similar. He put in his work at the lighter weights and hes a top dog now, a shot caller, he fights who he wants regardless of weight. And who he fights gotta bring in cash. He doesnt need catchweights as much as Pac cuz he's a bigger dude so its nothing for him to starch dudes at a full 147. But Pac is so boss dog now that not only does he pick who he fights he even puts the weight to his advantage and people still drain themselves.
Bradley, Holt, Guzman are not stars and bring nothing to the table financially to Pac so they are high risk low reward fights like P.Will and Clottey are for mayweather.
PS: It shouldnt be this away and im not endorsing it, its just the way it is.
PS again: Floyd cleaned out the 130 pound division, he called out Hamed multiple times to no availComment

he didn't clean out the division. he was the best fighter there. close but not the same. he never unified the belts nor did he beat most of the top ranked guys there. he won a belt from the best man in the division and later he fought the next best guy in the division. clearly the best at 130 but he didn't clean it up.
hamed was a 126 fighter. nothing to do with cleaning up 130.Comment
