mosley can't stop ugly boy floyd from running away from named fighters. and literally, running away from his foe in the ring... he refused to fight cotto and opt for retirement.

he will dance his way to beat marquez on july 18th. i just hope the fight will live up to the billing: numero uno, even if their promoters are fooling them. the numero uno in boxing today is no other than .................. pacccccccman.

shane blew 3 chances to fight floyd. 1 he demanded 10 mil up front.2 his tooth was hurting after the vargas fight and 3 De la hoya ****ed the next fight because he wanted to be the first person to beat floyd.mayweather was at ringside for both vargas fights and calling shane out. now the glove is on the other hand.

Im not saying mosley is totally blameless in it, but i can see his point that the timing was difficult after the vargas fight. I always hear him getting slated for this but it is a bit harsh because of the timing

I think mosleys only chance to get a fight is to really push for one like he is doing now. Mosley has been involved in big ppv fights like with de la hoya, cotto and cheato but i dont think he was the one putting the most bums on seats but he still can be a big draw, but he needs the right opponent.

those are the kind of details that shows mayweather actually has some balls. but yet he is being made to look like a ducker.

and no, that fight does not need to happen. I would be perfectly fine with this fight not happening. I would have loved to see this fight when it is suppose to have happened and when it would have actually been competitive. mayweather would take mosley apart right now. shane doesn't deserve this fight IMO. he blew his opportunity.

Shane Mosley is a 1st class/grade future HOF, who just dismantled a man, that Floyd wanted no part of. I'd pretty much say that is the definition of deserving.

I'd also bet the house that you're views are in the minority, and that most people would like to see this fight happen. If it doesn't, Floyd needs to fight Cotto, Pac, or god forbid challenge himself against Paul Williams (awaiting any excuses you may have as why he shouldn't). No one "hates" your favorite fighter, in fact they are waiting for his indelible talent to make it's way to his heart. Mayweather's talent deserves to be tested, his gifts deserve to be tested, when a man is blessed with such gifts he can either choose to inspire people with those gifts, or drive them away; he has chosen the latter.

Just a footnote: When you reference Mosley's age of being 38, as being a legitimate reason why this fight shouldn't happen? Remind everyone else as well as yourself, that your favorite fighter is fighting a man who is 37 years old and considered a tuneup fight.
