    "Hatton lost because he lost his punch resistance"

    To all of you who say that;

    Would he have walked through the shot that KHTFO earlier in his career?

    He lost because, he wasn't that good to begin with. Not to be critical, but people act like he had a 50/50 chance of beating Mayweather.

      I don't think he lost only because of that but that is why he was ktfo in under 2 rounds.

        He looks like he faded a bit, so there can be some truth to that.

          Yup. Mayweather definitely cracked that chin, but that left he walked into from Pac puts any form of Hatton out. I think the Hatton before he fought Floyd maybe wouldn't have gotten as hurt in the first, I think his recovery time would have been a little better.

          But like Joshua said, Hatton was just never that good.

            Some Floyd fans don't realize styles make fights, instead they bash Pacquiaos win saying its Mayweathers left overs yet Hatton was coming off a great win against Paulie Malignaggi. And before anyone says well Paulie couldn't hurt Hatton, how did Paulie hurt Ndou and all his other opponents to keep them off of him?

            And floyd is acting like a brat once again claiming everyone is his left-overs as if he hasn't ever fought anyones left overs. I guess Marquez will be Pacquiaos left-overs or maybe other fighters left-overs since Marquez has been in some wars.

              this is why he lost...he walked into a perfect shot after he had already been down twice..with his chin up and his hands down..end of story

                I've said this 100s of times but....his punch resistance never was that good. He got dropped by Eamonn Mcgee @ british level. Enough said.

                  Hatton's punch resistance has been on the downslide ever since tszyu, but he was never that good a boxer in the first place
