How did Jeff Lacy get so much hype?

who had he beat before calzaghe anyway?
and i never saw the big deal about his power, it could'nt be that great if he was 21(17)...roy jones was 21(20) including a knockout against glenn wolfe who was suppossedly unknockoutable

he's like amir khan, done **** all yet somehow got a **** load of hype

Dude was young, went to the Olympics, and was a KO puncher. 168 seemed to be his for the ruling. Many didn't know much of Joe C beyond Eubank and Reid.

            Calzaghe himself was 21 with 20 KO's, I think.

No they weren't. I know you were being sarcastic but Calzaghe hit hard in his early days.

How did he get so much hype? I don't know but he sucks from the performances I've seen so far. I know I know, "injuries" are the cause of his lackluster performances. The fight he had with JT, i expected a war from seeing a few highlights of Jeff, but instead i wondered why the fck i was watching the fight in the first place. I wasn't impressed, and now he's basically become the posterboy of "Just because you looked jacked it doesn't mean you can fight. People really believe that now. Thanks Jeff.

what i mean, jeff lacy knockout power(or percentage at least) is not impressive at all same with the opponents

man people musta been real desperate to see joe calzaghe lose or they just really underestimated him
