    wrong person , jr.

i don't sweat fighters for taking big money fights. it's their job.

that's why i don't sweat floyd for fighting hatton and delahoya instead of marg and cotto.

Which is exactly what I believe is going to happen. But of course they will blame it on money or negotiations or weight or something.............

the money was in fighting morales , barrera and marquez.

you're in the business. if you had a fighter that could have ppv fights with morales , barrera , marquez would you even think about fighting guzman?

Actually I think Nate was offered a Marquez fight. They took a fight with Guzman instead and look where they ended up.

it'll come up but there won't be much weight on it.

he could get ktfo fighting cotto and would be the underdog.

In hindsight it would have been better for him to look more impressive in the later rounds, sure, but Guzman was thinking get the W and he fights Pacquiao, as there was a verbal agreement in place that if Guzman won, he would get his shot at Pac.

It is what it is though.
You are defending Guzman for coasting the last few rounds and that's understandable, but you are dead wrong about him helping his case for a shot at Pacquiao by doing that. Another thing I don't agree with is about Soto getting schooled. He landed a lot of body shots against Guzman when he had him on the ropes and Guzman had a swollen eye at the end of the fight. Punch quality definitely belonged to Soto even though he may have gotten outlanded. I have a soft spot in my heart for action fighters though so we can go on and on about this subject. But I'm gonna leave it at this unless you counter with another good debatable post. It is fun I'll admit.

Even if he moved up earlier on, the only black guy for him to fight would have been Casamayor who is also not American. This is just foreplay hype for Pacman V Mayweather!

i think floyd and pac fighting someone else is a possibility.

                  they'll probably fight next year.

they both lose a ton of money if either one loses though......

Generally speaking...that's the number one reason why Mr boat buyer gets hate. For chasing money fights instead of "legacy" fights.

Yeah doesn't it make more sense for TR to match up both Pac and Cotto with Mayweather, one after the other to get more money than to eliminate one from the equation temporarily.
