I agree with sho-time for turning down those fights but what is the explanation for fighting Gunn? What about Guilermo, Flores, Afolabi and the tones of other names that Sho-time would have surely accepted.

it's a moot point because he is still fighting more than anyone else. in the past these types of fights were common between real title defenses. as long as he is keeping a busy schedule.

i haven't heard what jones and olafabi and flores are doing.

flores is clearly only fighting club level fighters. he is all talk, look at his opponents so he is eliminated.

olafabi is the interim beltholder and is the mandatory for ramirez. plus he just fought and isn't the busiest fighter.

jones has nothing scheduled I think and would be a great fight. i don't think it could be negotiated so quickly because it's a unification. that's abig fight that needs to be built up cuz no one here knows jones

Exactly what I thought. A piece of **** like "daggum", who hates all European boxers, will blame this on Tomasz and ridicule him for it, even though he knows as well as we do it's not Adamek's fault.

Never did hopkins offer Adamek half a mil. The half a mil was an offer to the whole camp, which includes Main Events, Rozalski, the sparring partners, his trainer and Adamek. Tomasz said if HE had been offered half a mil he would take it. The reason Gunn is fighting Adamek is just because of the schedule.

Actually, this has cleared up a little bit. Showtime had the money for the godfrey and johnson fight but couldn't do the date. They are all booked up until like november. They could pay the fighters, but not the production costs and the site fees etc.

Cunningham has a fight scheduled right now.

I would assume that Adamek will be back to defending his title against good competition in his next fight.
