plus as you can see shane's interview video was not as long as mayweather's.

i'm sure brian is somewhat biased against mayweather. mayweather calls him names and insults him. he's only human.

that doesn't change the fact that he asked legitimate questions.

he's gotten on a few boxers before. he's been doing fnf for what 11 years? floyd is not the only guy he's asked tough questions before. floyd just overreacted and made it seem worse than it was.

where's manchine? manchine do you have any vids of past brian kenny interviews were he's asked tough , direct questions before.

The thing i find unfair is in 2006 he basically told mayweather that he was a paper champ by fighting gatti in 05 and winning the WBC belt, not taking into account that hatton didint want to fight him at that point. Basically Kenny had a legit point by saying the fight against judah wasnt for a legit title, but later on, floyd would proceed to beat hatton and baldomir, but again, that still wasnt enough, even when mayweather became a legit champ in 06 by beating baldomir, that wasnt good enough. There comes a point where it becomes entertainment rather than journalism.

Honestly i dont mind it, its interesting tv, but dont try to tell me this is good journalism, its not at all.

mayweather called gatti a paper champ.

after he beat gatti , floyd then declared himself champ at 140.

that's why kenny asked him about it.

when is anything ever enough? you think just because a fighter beats someone that means journalists shouldn't ask who you're gonna fight next?

that's how it is with EVERY fighter. aren't they asking manny who he is gonna fight next? aren't they asking manny is he gonna fight cotto or floyd or mosley?

journalists' job is to inform the fans. fans always want to know who a fighter is gonna fight next that's why it's the question they ask the most.

in boxing there's always someone left to fight.

Of course he asked Shane about the steroids, Shane was part of the whole BALCO Controversy, Shane went on many media outlets to some what clear his name by at least finally admitting he did it. Brain Kenny didnt come at him out of no where.

How you gonna drive by the very next sentence which EXPLAINS why he would call himself the man at 140, hatton didint want to fight him, thus he declared himself the man at that weight. Of course he called gatti a paper champ during the fight build up, he says alot of BS during fight build up, but now were supposed to take that as face value? Come on man.

I remember him asking Hopkins about fighting Chad Dawson and others. Hopkins handled it well though.

So he made it worth everyones while.

Rather then be a promotional tool for Floyds next fight he went in on him.

Good journalism if you ask me.

Co-sign. Kenny didn't do **** wrong, he asked questions. Mr boat buyer was pissed from the opening introduction of the interview. Kenny did his best to play it cool while Mr boat buyer was rantin up a storm.

kenny didn't mean it as an insult. he was introducing the guy and the segment.
Obviously there's some bad blood there between the two, but Kenny was pushing his buttons constantly throughout the interview leading to the outburst from Floyd. Kenny was raising his voice, talking over Floyd, taking cheap shots at him, all the while maintaining his smug grin - that's not good journalism, that's plain pompous. He was even getting on my nerves just watching it and I'm not even particularly a fan of Floyd.

if hatton didn't want to fight him then floyd easily could have stated that when kenny asked.

hatton was the man at 140 by beating kostya. just because he refused to fight floyd doesn't make floyd the man.

i don't buy that. or else all these marg fans and cotto fans could've claimed at the time that marg and cotto was the man at 147 for floyd not fighting them.

there are many reasons why fights don't happen and some are legitimate , that doesn't mean journalists shouldn't ask questions though.

like i said you guys are putting too much into the interviews because people are using the interviews to hate on floyd.

talk **** to the floyd haters but don't talk crap about kenny for asking legitimate questions.

btw kenny asked roach similar questions with regards to pacquiao. he asked freddie about fighting floyd. no one is saying kenny is accusing pacquiao of ducking floyd.

it's because freddie gave the generic "it's in discussion , we're talking/thinking about that possible matchup" answer.

like i said floyd's answers and reactions made the questions seem more confrontational than it was.

kenny was pushing buttons by introducing floyd as the FORMER #1 p4p?

that's what got floyd all riled up and confrontational.

                    watch the interview again.
