I'd say Puerto Ricans, the entire island rallies behind their fighters. that's not the case in mexico or the uk which is more obsessed soccer. mexican americans however, regularly shell out money for ppvs

Britain by far. Bar none.
When you have 30,000+ fans fly over 5000 miles, then it's something special. Maybe only 10,000 of those have tickets. But the other 20,000 fill up all the pubs/bars in Vegas that are supporting Hatton.
Hooliganism too. I don't hear much of riots after American Football matches or Baseball matches? After/before a football match in Britain between two teams that have an intense rivalry, two 'firms' will fight each other because they are so passionate about the club they support.
Yet again, the atmosphere. No other country can provide an atmosphere like that at any type of sport. Songs are made and instruments are used to promote the fan's passion about their team/fighter.
If you had put Ricky Hatton vs Mayweather/Malignaggi/Pacman in a football stadium over here. It would have probably sold out. Hatton even had a big crowd when he fought Malignaggi. If you put those fights in Wembley, which has 90,000 seats. I wouldn't be surprised if it was sold out.Comment

The Brits hands down. If Hatton was American he would have had at least 5 losses bby now and would have a hard time getting on BAD.Comment
