Joe would of beaten James Toney, he was a level below Calzaghe.

Hopkin is a more difficult prospect but he would have troube with a prime Joe's hand speed.

Jones would of been a pick em fight.

I wish people would celebrate a great and underrated fighter like Joe more, he was an exceptional talent.

    won 46 (KO 32) + lost 0 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 46
    Dude

Joe fought the LOSER of an elimination bout.

    ATG's don't do that.

He does NOT have exceptional talent...even the blindest fool can see that.

      Calzaghe is overrated.

He doesn't touch a prime toney/jones/hopkins. He'd be an underdog to all 3.

Atleast give them facts to make the racists look dumb like calzaghe beat 6-8 former world champions and defended his world champion title 21 times and fought the best at 168, then moved up to lhw and fought the best in his first fight against hopkins who was rated as the best lhw and was even on the p4p I believe. And everyone already knows calzaghe haters are racists who hate white people, because they discredit everything in his career. I'm hoping the racists are little kids and not people my age at 22, because if they are thats so sad.

I'm British- i rate and like Calzaghe but lets face it. The fact he didn't fight in America until 2008 pretty much guarntees he ain't an all time great.

keyword former. 6 to 8? well which is it? how hard is it to be a champ at 168 anyway?

how many of these defenses were against good fighters ? 13 out of 21 were never in the top 10 according to ring. and manfredo was in the top 10 lol! so thats at least 14 tomato can defenses.

he lost that fight to a blown up middleweight.

Calzaghe would have fought Hopkins years ago if Hopkins hadnt priced himself out of the fight and Jones for signing with another broadcaster

And Hagler fought a guy with 38 losses for his 45th pro fight.

What are you saying... that every ****ing fight has to be a top 10 ranked big-name fighter? People have tune-up's, stay-busy fights, mandatory fights, comeback fights, fights purely for money, etc. Hopkins fought Morade Hakkar, for ****'s sake! Does that take away anything from his greatness? How about Hagler fighting Willie Warren for his 45th fight? It doesn't mean ****.

How many times do you have to be told? It's not a racist thing, you ****** ****ing ****. The most hated fighter on this board is black, and cops **** for the same reason Joke does - because people perceive them to have cherry picked sub-par opposition.

Do you understand this, little boy?

The two most hated fighters are Joke and Floyd. One is black, one is white. The dissenters use the same reasoning for disliking both.

In fact, there used to be a poster on this board called Mac Champ who used to say that Calslappy ducked Pavlik. An accusation which curiously stopped when Pavlik got his ass beat by Hopkins. But still, he used to accuse Joke of short-changing his career and talent, just like all these "racists" you say do.

                  Was Mac Champ a racist?

                  Huh, little boy?
