I recently watched an interview in SKY with Mayweather. He said he wanted to fight in Wembley. A match up with Witter, before he got dropped by Bradley, would have been interesting.

And that the dedication we the UK fans have for the sport of boxing, I cant imagine American fans doing that..
Personally, Boxing is the only sport I would wake up at 4 am for.

Am sure Hatton's fanatics would actually feel up Wembley just to see Mayweather Kick Witter all over the place since Hatton was too scared to do it himself.

I have to agree with that. I think Hatton really didn't want to take the risk by facing Witter. Junior wanted Hatton bad, that fight would have good to.

lol at the thought of Witter selling out Wembley stadium. Must be Wembley arena, and even then 95% of the crowd would have paid to see mayweather. (spot the Hatton fan...)

Floyd's just doing his PR stuff while in the UK. Just saying things that he thinks people in the UK want to hear so we'll like him and buy his PPV. He's holding back the arrogant side since he's been here, hoping people will like him as he's not fighting a brit for them to hope knock him out. He's not as dumb as he looks, gotta give him credit for that!

i've done it for football (hate this word, soccer to americans) when i was in australia, european champpions league knock out stages. its mid week so no staying up drinking, had to go to work after. Saying as Manchester united won it, totally worth it every time.

American fights were on at midday over there, breakfast in the pub washed down by beer, great way to send the afternoon.

Mayweather's sycophancy towards the UK is obvious, but I never believed Hatton was the best the UK had to offer. I always wanted Floyd to face someone like Witter.

P.S. I know he's not going to fight out of Britain, this is just a fantasy scenario.

                    Poll coming...
Says guy named after dope. The only people who will stop supporting him are the ones who never liked him and always hated him. This thread looks like when George W Bush was trying to convince black people to be afraid of the *********s while doing **** about the kkk or other organized hate groups.

Who really would care that much? Overly nationalistic *******s, that's who.

If Mayweather had a UK presence, it could potentially do good things for British boxing if he had a mind to start some initiatives aimed at coaching. Probably won't happen, but it would be nice if he could have that kind of impact here.
