Hypothetical situation: If Floyd starts fighting out of Britain...

under the British flag, do you, as an American, continue to support him. I'm going to have to say it would be awfully hard.

P.S. I know he's not going to fight out of Britain, this is just a fantasy scenario.

He should move to France since he's such a coward

He'll probably be looked down on until he proves himself in the US like every other UK fighter. Honestly, I think Floyd at this point would have most likely be somewhere around 49-0 if he fought in the UK for the beggining of his career. It's tougher to get fights in the US, imo.

The majority of american boxing fansdont support him as of right now.

The majority of his "fan" base consist of the opposite. Most of the people who follow floyd do so becase theywant to see him lose or to root for the other guy.

So it really wouldnt change much anout his respect level in the US.

If you look at it from Mari's perspective, a lot. He means for you to fantasize as Floyd as a UK fighter. That would change everything.

Why not? If he's still as skilled as he is now then i don't see why representing a different country would matter.
