              I'm sure it is pretty safe there. They have lots of friends who will come to their aide at the drop of a handkerchief.

              And shoe shines cost about $100 not including tips.

                  Bad idea. With all the money over there people will be laying down BIG money, more than Vegas, on the fight and someone is going to pay off the judges and ref.

                      I don't think anything quite matches the slot machines of Vegas for moneymaking. This could only happen is the UAE governments showed interest in promoting the sport but so far they seem interested in golf & tennis and buying Premiership football clubs (Dubai have been trying to get Liverpool FC, and Abu Dhabi already have Hatton's Man City). Boxing is growing in N Africa though, so if there are more success stories then maybe the tide will turn in favour of boxing in the gulf states an all
