There was only 1 legit knockdown in the Peter fight. Wlad schooled Peter and dominated 10 of the 12 rounds, he badly hurt Peter and almost knocked him out in the final round.

Adamek clearly beat Cunningham. He knocked him down 3 times and won a lot of rounds. It should've been a clear UD win for Adamek, not a SD. The judge that scored it for Cunningham is a corrupt ****** and should be banned from boxing.

Most people disagree with you about Adamek-Cunningham. If you read the fight reports from the time, they said it was a FOTY candidate, that Adamek was rocked several times, and that it was close and could have gone either way.

As for the Peter fight, you were talking about the effect knock-downs have scoring-wise, and from that point of view, the knock-downs in the Peter fight were all scored as knock-downs. And why did you conveniently ignore the JMM-Pac fight that I also brought up?

You literally know within a few words know, that your reading a Mark Vester article, short of interior detail, and increasing speculation, leads you to not bother reading on.

Any quotes or info, of any weight on this subject matter at all, from anyone?

        No.

Christ. Find something else to write about then. Or better still if your bored, just don't.

I think Adamek can beat Hopkins.
          Adamek isn't Kelly Pavlik.
He's very larger than Kelly and a lil bit more Slick, experienced and smarter.

Adamek get owned by Dawson, right, but Dawson is a very fast southpaw, totally different of bernard's profil...Adamek was drained and still dropped Chad.

Hopkins'll not play with Adamek like he did with Kelly.Like I said,Adamek is very strong and smart...
I think Hopkins don't really want that fight...
He isn't scared, but he knows he'll be in danger against the rough Polish dude unlike when he faced Kelly at 170.

I really wanted to see this fight in July of this year, but if need be, Hopkins will STILL do work on Adamek in 2010.

                A new decade, a new time...EXECUTION TIME

Hopkins did it to himself this time,he never really wanted to fight Adamak so he made him that pathetic offer of 500,000.2 weks after HOPKINS said a half a million offer was made to espn radio,it jumped to 1.2 million when asked on Friday night fights by Brian Kenny.Adamak called "HIT AND HOLD"Hopkins a liar and said he would JUMP AT 1.2 MILLION TO FIGHT THE CHEATER. now Hopkins HAS to fight ADAMEK.HIT AND HOLD HOPKINS now has to fight or look like the p**** HE IS and has been sice his second Taylor fight.HIT and HOLD MEMBERS-HOPKINS(president and founder)ANDRE BERTO(collazo, stevie forbes and from now on)MOSLEY(MARGIRITO),ANDRE WARD(miranda)PAUL WILLIAMS(MARGO,WINKY).NAZZEEM RICHARDSON head trainer of that illegal, cheating, style.Hit then hold on then decide to let go hit again then hold ALL FIGHT.PATHETIC then WILLIAMS,HOPKINS,MOSLEY want to know why their avoided, hey Shane you werent avoided untill you started to CHEAT!!!Then again you wouldn't of beaten MARGO had you not,KARMA IS A ***** ,BABY!!!

Hopkins said he wouldn't fight Dawson because Dawson needed to build his name first but he is willing to fight someone (Adamek) who Dawson dominated. Hmmmmmmm
Hopkins needs to stop trying to handpick opponents he thinks will be stylistically made for him and just retire.

People who say that Dawson dominated Adamek have a false sense of what went on in that fight in my view. Dawson beat Adamek more convincingly than he did Johnson, but that fight got real interesting after Chad tasted the canvass. He seemed to fight the rest of the fight in survival mode and it makes me wonder if Adamek could've won that fight if it had went 15 rounds. It is kind of similar to the Cotto-Mosley fight, but Chad won it more decisively by putting more rounds in the bank than Cotto did. But of course, Cotto didn't get floored by Shane though. With that said, Adamek probably is less of a puzzle to solve for Bernard than Dawson is. But that doesn't mean he should get negative criticism for choosing him over Dawson. The guy is 44 years old and he wants a guy that brings more economic muscle to the table than Chad.
