With the news coming down that HBO is once again interested in a fight between Bernard Hopkins and IBF cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek, you have to wonder if Bernard can afford to wait around until 2010 for the fight to happen. I'd luv to see Bhop win 1 more title, or even just 1 more fight before he walks. But he can't wait around. If he don't fight by yrs end we ain't seein him box again.Comment

Please retire Bernard. I don't want to see you end up in the list of old fighters who were beaten up by younger guys at the end. Not saying he'd lose this fight, but he should retire.Comment

Yeah, I think Bernard messed up by not taking this fight while it was hot. Even though he's got a big ego I'm still a big admirer of B-Hop no matter what anyone else says. And this author needs to get off of Chad Dawson's nuts. It wouldn't have suprised me to have seen Adamek beat him in a 15 round fight. He was coming on strong toward the end. Dawson-Hopkins is the right fight as far as lightheavyweight division lineage though. But Dawson is a waste of Bernard's time.Comment

hell no, that's no good for hopkins at all. He's said numerous times he cant afford to wait around and it takes "a long time to restart my engines." He has to fight really soon or it's retirement.Comment
