I agree with that...except for Mosely...no way he beats Mosely...just as fast, more power, more experience, just as ring savy, "naturally bigger" and owes just as much money to people...just not the IRS. (Big up to Jin Mosley for giving Shane more focus and determination)

I try and stay out of Floyd topics, but it seem as if they are all over the place now(moreso than when he retired), but I have to disagree...I have been seeing folk on this board, and others, talk as if Mosley is the answer to the Floyd puzzle....HE IS NOT!
I happen to think that Floyd my borderline embarass Shane.
On A Side Note: Not that it matters, but Shane has never done well with black fighters on an elite level...Mexicans, sure, but not black fighters. I really think he has some sort of mind block when it come to those situations.Comment

....and then loses twice to Winky, I can stomach those losses more than those to Vernon.
Regarding Mosely being the answer to the Floyd riddle, I think that he has all the tools to beat Floyd, controlled agression, one punch KO power, smarts, hard jab, conditioning, "bigger", can box when necessary...the only thing that is against him is the obvious....age...what is he 37-38....he doesn't fight as "old" as his age would indicate, but boxing smarts is something he has an abbundance of and I think makes him the ONLY WW with a "great chance" at beating...dare I say...KOing Floyd.Comment

The way I see it....those two above took the best shots form each other when they fought....could've went either way..and I wasn't upset at the outcome...even though I had Shane winning the fight on a SD.
Both of those guys have exceptional chins, Floyd doesn't have KO power at WW, so I see them walking thru his postshotting and digging to the body (the tuck and roll don't work to well against a good left/right hook to the body) and Floyd would be forced to swing away to the head...or dance away to the ropes and take the punishment.
Floyd has the skills...but does he have the heart...I guess the real question is..."Can money buy a warriors heart?"Comment

I think Cotto's stamina and lack of defense will fail him. Floyd's stamina and defense is too good for Cotto. Cotto will probably have success early on but will get worn out once Floyd adapts to him. Look at Floyd's past fights. He's the one that winning the later rounds. He took over against Zab, Oscar, Hatton etc. Floyd by UD/ late stoppage
Shane has a legit chance of beating him. He won't look as good as he did against Tony that's for sure, though. Shane doesn't have great defense, he drops his left hand alot and invites lead right hands from Floyd. This has boring fight written all over it. Floyd by SD.Comment
