It was clear he had nothing left and would not win the fight, and even if he had made it out of the 11th he would have ended up unconscious and carried out on a stretcher by the beginning of the 12th. I know its a little too early on Cottos part, but I think the guy may be ****ed up as well. We will see in june.
That is completely untrue, you cannot compare the kind of shots Mosley threw against Tony with the ones Cotto threw. Watch the Mosley fight again and see the kind of force he threw those right hands, basically used his whole body to hurt Tony and it was clear Mosley is the biggest puncher of the three. Cotto threw some nice bombs but he would barely plant himself as he was constantly on the retreat for most of the night.

Cotto is a good puncher but it was evident in both fights that Mosley just has more power than Cotto. However it was a war between Tony and Cotto, they both took a lot of damage, Cotto got pummeled to the body almost the whole entire fight, it was later on the fight when Tony started to land those uppercuts and hooks that ****ed Cotto all up like that, he had no legs and took a bow to Dr. Doom.

It was an awsome fight. If Cotto was fighting anyone else that night, the fight would have probably been over by round 5 or 6. It really was a fight of 2 halfs.

I honestly believe Margarito used plaster in the Cotto fight. I doubt the Mosley fight was his first time doing it. My theory is he started using plaster after the loss to Paul Williams. That's when he came back and destroyed poor Golden Johnson lol, Cintron, then the Cotto fight and Mosley.

Cotto fought a great fight the first half of that fight. Cotto seemed to be hesitant, and slower in his fight against Jennings. He didn't look like the old Cotto to me at all. Im hoping that is because he put on a lot of weight during his long lay off and had to take it all off, and he just needed his confidence back (which is why he was being hesitant) which he clearly got back after he dropped Jennings.

Now Cotto has lost all that extra weight he gained and came back and got a confidence booster fight that came with a title belt. Plus the Margarito plaster thing might make him feel he's never been fairly defeated whether Margarito used it or not you know that has to cross Cotto's mind.

Overall, we will learn A LOT from the Clottey fight. Can't wait to be there live.

        WAR COTTO!

I won't take any credit away from SSM for the ass whoopin he put on Marg. If Marg comes back and his monster chin is gone, I'd say blame SSM for the most part, tho back to back brawls wit Cintron and Cotto before that certainly didn't help. And we don't know what Cotto got left cuz Jennings didn't do **** to test him. Clottey will tho. And I won't be surprised if he lost sumthin in that fight, even if it don't show up immediately against Clottey.

Margarito is just done period, pre-Mosley or not.
            totally agree with you there..

that wasnt a fernando vargas kind of stoppage..

him putting that knee.. was the best & smart thing he have done in his career. there was nothing else to do... and i think like you..

that knee saves his career...or at least prolong it.

Bro, Golden Johnson got destroyed because he was simply outclassed by Margarito, no shame on that, Cintron got destroyed a second time just as he did the first time they both fought and that was much prior to Tony losing to Williams so your whole "he started using plaster after the Williams loss" has no validity, please stop making dumb stories and accept that your boy lost fair and square.

Why are you getting mad? Im entitled to my opinion just as you are to yours.

After Margarito beat Cotto I gave Margarito FULL RESPECT. You can even look up my posts (if your a loser with no life.)

Then your boy got caught cheating against Mosley. ***in guy trying to put plaster in his handwraps? That's a disgrace. The guy should be in jail. He's putting his opponents life at risk doing dumb **** like that. After this ****** incident, all my respect for Margarito went out the door.

I don't believe it was Margarito's first time doing this. And I have every right to believe so, just as you have every right to believe otherwise. Why would he not do it in his previous fight that was the BIGGEST fight of his career?

I'm making dumb stories? I made no stories. I stated my opinion. Calm down and think before you post. Im not insulting your opinions I'm just stating my own. Just because I don't agree with you you don't have to get all worked up and attack me.

theres a phrase that we say in PR that i think it totally fits you; "No hay peor ciego que el que no QUIERE ver" i know you speak spanish so theres no need 4 trans. If it was Cotto that use the plaster, my support for him will be thrown to the garbage . you should do the same it make you look as bad as MARGACHEATO.
