floyd already has 3 p4p fighters on his resume. if he beats those 4, that would be 7. I believe that would be a record for top 10 p4p fighters faced in a career ever since they started this ranking. and the funny/sad thing is, he probably still won't get credit for all those wins.
not probaly..he wont. I find it amazing how everyone is calling for a MOSLEY FIGHT, AND A COTTO FIGHT..then Mayweather tells Rich that THOSE ARE THE GUYS HE WANTS, it gets reported, and they STILL got something to negative to say....

this situation with Mayweather is a ....

Actually Hatton was ranked 11th by ring magazine when he fought floyd.

Also Morales and Hatton were kind of dubious P4P when Manny beat them (I disagreed then that Morales was still P4P after the Raheem lose) . I really did not think that Hatton was worthy of that kind of status after losing to Floyd (he really did not earn his way back into the top 10 imo).

              you sure?

he was in the top 10 at the end of 2008.

they must have moved him down before the fight.

edit: nevermind i misread. i thought you meant hatton was 11th when he fought manny.

Pacquiao-Morales 2 was a done deal before the Raheem loss. and even afer that Morales was still 4th p4p because he lost at a higher weight class .

Castillo became a p4p fighter AFTER he lost to mayweather. that still obviously counts. If castillo was on the list before but then came off, then that wouldn't count in my books but he was on it after.

and I don't want to read that castillo some how improved and made the p4p list cuz you know that isn't true.

i'm going off of ring magazine.

not my own list nor others.

everyone has a different top 10.

ring's is as good as any and ring is still the most prestigeous rankings for me.

erik lost to raheem at lightweight and not his division so i think ring took that into account. ring had paulie as the #1 contender when ricky beat him so i'm sure that's why they rate that win higher than most.

As I recall...from the espn ticker during the press conference where Hatton infamously refers to himself as ricky fatton....both the ticker and the caption under his name said ranked 11th p4p by Ring Magazine. Perhaps someone could look into it to make sure.
