he didn't go with don king because arum doesn't want to do business with king or haymon. floyd isn't ******. he knows this and he knows the big $$$ fights will be with top rank fighters.
that's why gbp will be handling him from now on when he deals with top rank. also why they gave him a juicy paycheck and a nice big name tuneup in the form of the jmm fight imo.

Here is a quote from the Mayweather press con, tell me what you think. It's regarding why Mayweather opted not to go with Don King, choosing principle over money.

Maybe he was talking about like a 5 fight contract and get the money upfront. I don't know if anyone does that because I don't know the inner workings of the business, but I would think that it would be something along those lines.Comment
