Actually at that time they wanted the following 5 guys
        - Marquez
        - Cotto
        - Mosley
        - Ortiz
        - Pac

So it's more like 4 out of 5.

The one remaining got an offer back in the time:
        - Asked for 50/50, got it
        - Asked for gloves size, got it
        - Asked for a weight penalty, got it
        - Refused the fight over some blood testing
        - Claimed he was too scared of needles
        - Claimed blood taking was weakening him
        - Sued Floyd
        - Him and his promoter claimed that they needed to build a stadium, and that Pac has a bad cut to heal
        - Gave an ultimatum to Floyd while proceeding to sign a fight against Joshua ***1ng Clottey
        - His own coach and conditioner tried to explain to mentally challenged people that Arum and Pac dont want anything to do with Floyd before Pac's last fight, when they will try to cashout against Floyd

The hit list could have been completed since a long time...

Took him a while, but one more to go from this list..

            Mosley
            Cotto
            Pacquaio
            Ortiz

Comments in this thread said he wouldn't fight any of them (more so the first 3 of course)

Looks like he's going to fight all 4, if not, 3 out of 4.

            Cowards these days.

If you assume Marquez was on the list, he fought 4 of them in a row (all on HBO, all 1M+ PPV):
2009 Mexican Independence Day weekend: Marquez
2010 Cinco de Mayo weekend: Mosley
2011 Mexican Independence Day weekend: Ortiz
2012 Cinco de Mayo weekend: Cotto

It's a shame it's taken so long to get the Pacquiao fight done, but hopefully it comes off.

That's true actually he did fight them all in a row. Good point.

People say "Yeah, well, he fought some of them years later!"

Well he can't fight them all at the same time he? He fought them all one after the other.

Some people even say "yeah he fought them but he waited for Mosley to get old" despite the fact the fight was signed about half a year or so after this article was published, and he had a fight 5 months after this article was published already.

Floyd obviously can't with a lot of these guys but that's been established for years.

There are people in this thread who posted in 2009 that Floyd is a coward and will never fight Mosley and Cotto and they still call him a coward to this day. They will say the same if he fights Pacquaio.

Some people in this thread, like Mathed for example, say Mayweather will never fight Mosley and Cotto, picked Cotto to stop Floyd, said Canelo would stop Floyd, said Guererro would beat Floyd, yet still calls him a coward.

So it is what it is.

out of all the Pac/Mayweather threads, this is the only one i've ever seen where the fighter has proved EVERYONE of the naysayers wrong by doing exactly what he said he was going to do. Hate or love Mayweather, This has got to be one of the best threads of all time. If you do indeed hate him, somewhere deep inside you have to look at this thread from the beginning and say to yourself " ok, mayyybe he's not as bad as i thought he was". We can sit here and make excuses all day, but the fact of the matter is he said this way bacc when and came out and done so. I dont wanna jump the gun on this pac thing yet (tired of giving my hopes up), But at least he tried to scratch pac off that list in 2009. Itll be interesting to see this bumped again if they do fight this year tho.
