Why are people complaining about MM fighting a smaller man yet arguing that he should be fighting Pacquiao? It's one or the other!

So the Marquez - Mayweather fight is gonna take place at 144 instead of the rumored 147. I don't care what anyone says, that **** is still not fair. We're talking about a career Featherweight fighting someone who's been above 140 for the last five years.

If Mayweather is always in such great shape and usually comes in well below the Welterweight limit, I don't see how he would have any problems making 140 again. The fight should have been contracted at 140lbs.
I don't really like it either, but I will take it. I will say this though. If Floyd fights Marquez like he did against Hatton and ODLH, Marquez will beat him.

Floyd will not out time or out counter Marquez with potshots. Timing is Marquez biggest strength and he does it with combination's. Floyd will have to concentrate on speed and angles to win this.

Its funny how the MAJORITY of the fans call this fight unfair because it is at 144, but they will NOT have a problem with Floyd fighting Manny pretty much at the same weight.

JMM THE MAN WHO IS ACTUALLY GOING TO FIGHT IN THE FIGHT HAS NOT ONCE CALL THIS "UNFAIR", HE ACCEPTED THE TERMS AND THEY ARE FIGHTING ON TH 18TH OF JULY...GET OVER IT.

Well, Marquez called out Floyd because he wanted a huge payday, which he will get. Why would Floyd drop to 135? He hasn't fought there in years. I would have liked it to be at 140 but at least 144 is better than 147. We're talking four pounds away from where you feel it's fair now.

So let me get this straight Floyd Mayweather's last 4 opponents have been Zab Judah, Carlos Baldomir, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and now he's about to fight Juan Marquez and then Manny Pacquiao, and dimwitted fans are complaining?????

                  Wow!!

Some of you mofo's need to check yourself...

I remember when Roy Jones had to climb to heavyweight just to shut the haters up for a minute. That didn't last too long though. The haters didn't shut up until they finally got what they had been craving for years: Roy KTFO.

The same applies for Mayweather. Floyd could fight Kelly Pavlik tomorrow and the haters wouldn't be satisified unless Floyd himself was ko'd.

You fools are LAME. Just go ahead and form your fingers into an L shape and plant that hand right on your foreheads.

So why doesn't Cotto go down to 140 to fight Pac?

Floyd hasn't fought at 140 in years, why the hell should he move down now?
