So the Marquez - Mayweather fight is gonna take place at 144 instead of the rumored 147. I don't care what anyone says, that **** is still not fair. We're talking about a career Featherweight fighting someone who's been above 140 for the last five years.

If Mayweather is always in such great shape and usually comes in well below the Welterweight limit, I don't see how he would have any problems making 140 again. The fight should have been contracted at 140lbs.
144 lbs is fairer than 147 lbs.

marquez is cool w/ 144 lbs. so should you.

The paycheck bro. He wanted the fight to be at a lighter weight, but Floyd refused to go under 144. In order to make the fight happen, Marquez manned up and excepted the weight.

Boxing isnt fair. but i agree with you, i think 140 is the middle ground between the 2 fighters.

144 is better than 147, but you need to understand that marquez is not multidivisional phenom like pac. he is 36 with two fights under 135. if you dont think floyd has all the advantages in this fight then your love for that guy has diminished all your sences.
