Man I almost felt bad for Floyd. You could see Kenny was just holding his hand through some points. The way Floyd snapped though, I almost feel bad for the guy. I mean for you to snap like that on national tv espn you must be sick of hearing a lot of the same ****. On the other hand hey, you brought in yourself. Go fight the top WWs and all is forgotten, but he just won't.
Brian Kenny -VS- Floyd Mayweather Jr. 2 Who won? Poll!

Who cares? Brian Kenny, just like Larry Merchant, has never liked Floyd Mayweather. He didn't say a word about Oscar being too big for Pacquaio before the fight. Nor did either criticize Oscar for fighting Steve "two pounds" Forbes at 147. Larry Merchant used to have an ****** every time he watched Oscar fight but wouldn't give Floyd credit for knocking out both Klitchko brothers in the same night. Brian Kenny is the same way. If Floyd knocked out Marquez and Pacquaio, he would say they were too small. If he then ko'd Mosley and Cotto, he would say they were past their prime. I am surprised that Floyd even wasted his time talking to Brian Kenny.Comment

He fought Baldomir, Judah and Oscar De La Hoya. But I guess in your eyes, those were not the top welterweights since Floyd fought them. If he knocked out Mosley and Cotto, you would say that Paul Williams is the top WW.Comment

The question is: "Who do you think did a better job of proving their point?"
- Mayweather's point seems to be that he is the #1 fighter on the planet.
- Brian Kenny's point is that PBF is fighting someone too small for him and he is not currently the #1 fighter after having retired.
It just aired. Here is the link for all who haven't seen it:

Brian Kenny should do a better job then that arguing against Floyd Mayweather (although interviewing Floyd in that fashion has to be a very tough job).
Kenny arguing with Floyd trhough words lis like Kenny trying to beat Floyd in a boxing ring. Floyd is an intelligent man, but he does not have the gift of gab (well he does in a way but he is far from eloquent).
So I have to call it a draw since Floyd actually had a couple points, it was a funny interview though. What other athlete gives interviews like that? T.O. maybe, but even he is not near as confrontational as Floyd is with Kenny (in the lead up to a fight, when Kenny interviews Floyd after Floyd wins things are usually much smoother).
Kenny should batter Floyd in any verbal confrontation and I really did not see, although Kenny is clearly better with words.Comment

Floyd Mayweather "I dont fight for bragging rights"
And yet he obviously feels that he is entitled to those bragging rights.Comment

That's the problem. People will stop calling him out on things he says all the time if he'll just stop making lofty claims. Pacquiao's job was not simply keeping the throne warm for him. Also, it is weak when PBF has to resort to "You make less money than me!" and "You've never laced up the gloves."Comment

And didnt you even listen? Look at previous interviews where brian kenny thought baldomir was a real threat, thats foolish.
Its also foolish to have the notion that marquez isnt a real threat, but manny is moreso a threat.
He's tuning up using one hell of a fighter, and you guys cant respect him for that. but instead bash his choices constantly, its obvious he gets agitated. And looking like fool, isnt the same as being one like kenny.
Atleast mayweather didnt make foolish carreer choices like kostya we wont remember him. Fool.Comment
