It was a fair argument on Floyd's part but still too simplistic. Morales actually beat Pac (that was offcial) yet he couldn't be effective north of 130. Pac's never really lost to Marquez and even though Brian admitted he thought Marquez won the fight, that doesn't mean the JMM will be able to carry himself at a higher weight the way Pac has.I get the point Brian was making but If you think JMM beat Pac and then you want Mayweather to fight Pac but don't agree with him fighting JMM then one could say you are being overly critical and favoring Pac over JMM even though by your own addmition he lost to JMM. I'm not saying that is right. I'm just saying that by admitting that you leave yourself open to that arguement.
Only reason Brian was pushing for Pacquiao is because he's dangerous at a weight within PFB's range and considered the p4p best where as JMM was struggling vs 135lb fighters. But Floyd is getting the same flak as Oscar did when he signed to fight Pac.Comment

Never said Shane was or wasnt a bigger draw. Shane is one of my favorite fighters. He is not the draw that he should be for whatever reason. The staples center was packed but I have heard people argue that Margarito had a lot to do with that. I think they both were draws that night. I went back and forth on here with somebody about why shane should get 50/50 split with Tony and that person brought up lack luster attendence at the Mayorga fight. I was just trying to put it fair perspective since you mentioned the free HBO thing.yea and in all fairness, it packed in 20 thousand people at staples on a night where there was a MMA even a few miles down...but hey, if you believe that JMM is a bigger draw than shane, then be my guest
no he didnt...it was true...but if he's not about legacy and about 'cashing checks' then BK had a great point in askin him 'why didnt you wait til after PAC fought Hatton'
dude, floyd contradicted himself on that interview so bad it wasnt even funnyComment

I get the point completly. Was just surprised is all. In reality Brian wants Floyd to say that he is not fighting Pac in his first fight back because that would not be smart and would be risky. He also knows Floyd would never admit that. Maybe he will admit it afer the fight. It was a fair argument on Floyd's part but still too simplistic. Contradiction, though. Pacquiao also has a country behind him, even more so than Marquez. So why not go straight to Pacquiao who holds 2 wins over Marquez and is also proven and probably more comfortable at 140+? We can argue and disagree all day about who beat who in the Pac-JMM fights but the fact is Pacquiao holds the wins officially. Opinions don't count for **** at the end of the day.
As for Mosely having no fans, well Mayweather says himself that he's such a huge draw... so why does it matter if Shane has no fans?
Floyd contradicts himself on both points. I could argue points against everything he said in the video but it'd take 3 days to type it out.

Floyd doesn't want to admit something else which I've pointed out several times. And he actually can't admit to it.I get the point completly. Was just surprised is all. The JMM fight is obvious in what he is doing.Comment
