What great points? He should be fighting a welterweight, he has been fighting at welterweight for awhile now. He should be fighting Cotto, Mosley, Clottey and other welterweights.
You know who floyd should be fighting before he fights pacquiao or marquez? That is right a real welterweight. Floyd is such a moron he has even called the opponents he beat little men, now he gets mad when others say it... Funny how that works.Comment

I get the point Brian was making but If you think JMM beat Pac and then you want Mayweather to fight Pac but don't agree with him fighting JMM then one could say you are being overly critical and favoring Pac over JMM even though by your own addmition he lost to JMM. I'm not saying that is right. I'm just saying that by admitting that you leave yourself open to that arguement.Comment

yea and in all fairness, it packed in 20 thousand people at staples on a night where there was a MMA even a few miles down...but hey, if you believe that JMM is a bigger draw than shane, then be my guest
no he didnt...it was true...but if he's not about legacy and about 'cashing checks' then BK had a great point in askin him 'why didnt you wait til after PAC fought Hatton'
dude, floyd contradicted himself on that interview so bad it wasnt even funnyComment

He is saying Pac answers to Arum while he {Floyd} decides who he fights in the end. His "Team" advises him but they are not his boss. Theyv'e helped him get this far so he will listen, but he stamps the decision.
There are reasons why Floyd was advised to fight JMM first and it was smart to do so. In the end, Floyd makes the decision to agree and go with it.
While Pac continues to say I'm just a fighter and you have to ask my promoter.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 05-20-2009, 07:25 PM.Comment
