If Bernard Hopkins were white?

He looked great against Pavlik. If fighters are judged on there last fights we should judge him on that.

Johnny Nelson would look great against Pavlik.

IMO you should judge a fighter on their whole career and not their last fight.

If Bernard Hopkins was white he wouldn't be a boxer. He only got into boxing to change his life after prison. He only went to prison because he was a black guy from the poor side of Philly, thus he started slangin.

If he was white. He wouldn't grow up on the poor side of Philly. Would have stayed in school and never went to prison. Which means he would never have boxed.

White Bernard Hopkins is a Cop not a Boxer.

Is it mandatory rules that we have a "If (insert black fighter) was white....?" thread every month or so?

Anyways- if B-Hop was white, it would make it even more strang and hilarious that he said "I'd never lose to a white boy!"

If joe calzaghe was black and bernard hopkins was white, would that phrase still be offensive?

LOL...Nelson is a legend. Most boring fighter I have ever seen hands down. He weren't letting no crowd dictate how he fought.

I'm not a greatl Hopkins fan, I've only seen him from 2004 onward, he never held much appeal for me to go out of my way and watch him.
