This fight shouldnt have been happening any higher than 140 anyway. Marquez knows it, and even said it in the beginning of negotiations. Right now his judement is clouded by the money he will make for the fight. He knows he's out of his league fighting at that weight.

floyd says he is only fighting marquez cause he called him out. well if that's the case why don't you fight mosley. he called you out too plus hes in the same division shocker! i know mosley didn't want to fight mayweather before but now he does so floyd should jump at the opportunity to finally fight him right? hmmm maybe not now that mosley doesn't look so shot anymore like he did when floyd wanted to fight him.

He's just coming back for nearly a 2 year lay off and fighting Marquez is far from a ***** move I really dont see that big deal with this blown out of proportion weight **** but no matter who he fights or what he does there will be critics.
All the welters were booked except Mosley and Mayweather sr. said "He will make sure jr will get in that ass before it's all over". If Floyd had decided to fight a welter without big name then we will hear the cry "he's fighting a washed up guy or a nobody".
