Cotto is a man of principle. I doubt this fight happens. Which is a shame cause it would be a great fight at any weight. But his health comes first which is something people fail to realize. Money cant fix brain damage. If cotto beats clottey he could face mosley or berto after. Cause Mayweather wont fight cotto anytime soon or any WW for that matter.

Are you saying that Cotto is ducking Pacquiao? If so, you do realize that he has no problem fighting Pacquiao, he has even accepted the idea, the thing is Roach wants Cotto fighting at 142, we all no what happened to Cotto in the latter part of his career at 140, why would he risk that again when his chin is great at 147.

as much as I like Pac this is what I was saying. Roach will see Cotto fight Clottey and all bets will be off. They wont want any part of a guy of his size come fight night. Cotto wont be no ODLH.

If Cotto fights him below that he runs the risk of being weight drained. If i were Cotto i would either push for 147 or just don't fight and let him fight someone else.

Pac may be P4P No. 1, but if Cotto wins he will just get ridiculed for fighting a smaller guy who's been blow up in weight. He won't get much credit for winning this fight imo.

Cotto will fight Judah next if Judah wins the IBF belt.The fight is easy to sell because of their history.Pacquio will probaly find himself fighting for peanuts like he used to.

There are only 4 mega stars in the 140lb-147lbs. They are Pac, PBF, Cotto and Mosley.

All but Pac fight at WW. Cotto has more natural options (in his weight class) than Pac. The only mega fighter that can possibly fight below 145lbs is Mayweather.

Cotto doesn't need Pac. Cotto can have huge paydays with PBF and Mosley. Not to mention the huge Mexico vs Puerto Rico pay-day Cotto can have if he rematches/grudge match with Margarito.

As much as people dislike Margarito after his disgraceful plaster inserts they would still like to see him fight Cotto even if no one else.

pacquiao is the p4p #1 best fighter. if you want to be the best you need to beat the best. that's why most fighter near his weight class wanted a piece of him. this is one thing and options of who will be his next opponent is another thing. thats the point
