the fact that cotto is "willing to go down" to fight pac shows you he got infected with the de la hoya ***** disease.

"I'm not willing to fight (with Pacquiao) below the 145 pounds," he added.

This weight is well above the 142 pounds that wants Pacquiao to face either Cotto, Shane Mosley or Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

In fact, Cotto said that he wont risk his health to mkake the millionaire fight.

The Criollo has been mentioned among the candidates to face Pacquiao from the time the filipino annihilated the British Ricky Hatton in two rounds last May 2.

However, he emphasized that is focused and thinking about Clottey, and not Pacquiao at this moment.

"I've worked hard for the past few weeks in order to obtain a victory on June 13 against Clottey. That night we will know who is the best of both, "said Cotto, who exposes his WBO Welte Wieght title(147 pounds) .
        Family

Since last Saturday, Miguel Cotto has seen a familiar face around the gym: his mother Juana.

"Being away from Puerto Rico is not pleasant, but to see Mom's face was good to get out of the rut", shared the king to remain in Tampa until June 5.

This is the translation of the article!!!!!!
I aint falling in that little trap door MR Roach. There were two guys who bit that bait (MORALES AND DE LA HOYA) and ended up as dinner. Good move for Miguel; the faster he dispatches Pac, the faster things get back to normal.

Why not just fight at 147?

              That's the whole point.

Facing Pac will be for nothing except money. So what is wrong with coming in below 145? Whether it is 147 or 144, he is probably going to blow up to a much larger weight anyway. So it's only fair on Pac.

If that's the case, im saying chase Williams or Mosely. Makes alot more sense than Pac.

Pac needs Cotto/Mosely/Mayweather just as much as they need him. Who else is he gonna fight for the big money? 145 is the exact weight they should all be fighting Pacquiao at.

I'm a fan of Cotto and Pacquiao but if Cotto lost at 145 their isn't many excuses he can even use, he can't even blame it on the weight in my opinion. 145 isn't too far off from 147. Only 2 measly pounds? Anyways, I do not think this fight will be made, I doubt an agreement will be made for the weight. Since its only 145 pounds, if Pacman really wants Cotto he might end up fighting him at 147 or not at all... But who knows... Cotto still has to get passed clotted which I believe he will.

Cotto never makes excuses, I am not sure why you bring that up.
