Also keep in mind that Cotto is a very hard puncher and is very accurate to the body. That's something Clottey won't be used to. Some make the comparisons with his fight with Margarito, but we all know Margarito is offense 1st, defense last. Cotto has developed into an all around great fighter who can adapt and is very quick in his own right.

I expect Clottey to put up a good fight, but I see this as the return of Cotto at the forefront of the sport. He looks and sounds like he's ready.

I think cotto's inside fire is erupting. He's seems to be more focused, well prepared.I've seen several underground photos of him traing. My champ looks like a horseman.Just like when he was traing for margarito.Solid.He know's his window to the boxing beyond starts with beating clotty.

I'm glad to see Cotto finally dumped his uncle... I'm not saying he was a terrible trainer, he got Cotto this far, but if they don't get along on a personal level, especially being family, they simply needed to go their own seperate ways

I still think dumping Diaz was a dumb move. Diaz is the best Cut man in the sport!!!!!!!
diaz is good and everything but was it necessary to put that much vaseline in cotto's nose. in the margarito fight?

Clottey is a strong guy, if Cotto wins is going to by decision, I dont see Cotto Ko Clottey, Margarito didnt do it, Cotto wont either....

If Cotto didn't fall out with his uncle it was gonna be another bad game plan and lack of focus in the ring. Good for Cotto, he deserves the chance to be recognized amongst the elite again. "What up Cotto?! What up Cotto?!" - Paul Williams' team. Nobody is really looking at him like that right now and hopefully he can win this decisively enough to make some real noise again.

If he wins this he and Mosley need to cut the Pacquiao BS out and go to round 13. Leave Pac to the May/JMM winner please.

I will wait until I see the fight to call it a good idea or not. A fighter needs their mind right though, and if he could not accomplish this with Evangelista it was better to move on.

I do not think getting a brawl with your former trainer is usually a good sign going into a fight, but it was a while ago and he is in Tampa far away from it all now so it might be alright.
