The analyst wanted to go the Brian Kenny route, but he doesn't know jack **** about boxing. Why would Mayweather want to start **** like this? These ****** little arguments he gets into are not poppin'. When that dude said Pacquiao is #1, he should have just said "the only reason Manny's #1 is because I retired and I'm coming back to reclaim my spot against a fighter that beat Manny Pacquiao twice in many peoples eyes."

It's not that hard to prepare for these interviews.

Floyd is coming off like someone who is desperate to achieve the type of status Pacquiao has. Someone who is secure with their position would not bring up old fights of Pacquiao's just to say he lost. Yes, of course it is trash talking, but it's merely a ploy by Floyd to place himself higher than Pacquiao bringing up his last 2 big money fights making all this money when actually GBP were the ones most responsible for that (promotion wise) along with Floyd's dance partners at the time (Oscar and Hatton).

Where I think this can all backfire is if the public continues to ride with Pacquiao putting pressure on Floyd to perform beyond the public's expectations taking Floyd out of his element of being this cautious fighter against his next 3 possible opponents (Mosley, Pacquiao, Cotto).

For Floyd's sake, I would hope he's going in with the right mind set and not eagerly needing money which history has shown isn't the best route to take. We shall see.

mayweather is far better known in the states than packyau i dont give a **** if hes jesus in the phillipines but they dont contrubute **** money wise. when mayweather was going to fight in the biggest fight in boxing history, packyau was fighting some bum on the cheap ass top rank ppv.

BY that I mean Floyd just downplays Manny and talks more about himself as if Manny doesnt matter.He should actually concentrate on his hitlist.

Manny wont make as much money fighting anyone apart from Floyd.Manny wont fight Cotto at 140,Cotto wont take the fight.This is Cotto's last fight with Arum so Arum will try to cash in.Cotto knows he will be self promoting and he can take a **** fight now (although I think Judah will persue Cotto if he wins the IBF belt)The fight with Judah will give Cotto some good money and it will not be difficult to sell since the two have some history.SO in reality Manny doesnt have as much leverage in negotiating with Cotto because Arum has interests in both.
I dont really think Manny will beat Cotto because Cotto is a survivor.When the going gets tough he knows how to turn things around.Can Manny take Cotto's body punch?Cotto's jab is also underestimated so if Cotto defeats Manny what becomes of Manny?

I posted on another mayweather topic this very subject. Why is he suppose to be quiet when he did leave as the best; he did gross the most; he is the only one in the mix that is undefeated. If you dont know about boxing cancel your memebership. Pac is a good fighter but any boxing novice knows he is not undefeated and that Money Mayweather gon bust that ass when the time is right.
