This fool is a clown, yeah he did more ppv's than manny against both of their same opponents (eventhough DLH and Hatton WERE the draw) but obviously he didnt take into account the U.S. economy at the time. It was a lot better when he fought DLH and Hatton and peeps were more than willing to pay $$ for those fights (especially that boring ass DLH/FMJ fight that was suppose to save boxing, but probably drove people away from it). But i think the biggest difference is that he (fmj) is also american and that helped a whole lot cause he already had name recognition among hardcore and casual fans. On the other hand, Direct tv hasnt put out its ppv #'s on the Pac/Hatton fight from what i understand . And i also think that more people watched the Pac/Hatton fight overall around the world due to the fact that in the filipines, the fight was shown on regular tv.
