Why Do Boxing Fans make a big deal out of Amir Khan

I really don't get it, I really love the sport of boxing and all that has accomplished within all of these great years and the great wars we have seen as well of the great fighters of each decade, But although im going to get flamed by this

I just don't get the big deal with Amir Khan besides looking awful a lot like (Eric Morales), Why is he so Overhyped? He is fast and has good speed, but other than that I don't see this kid being a serious reigning champion!

So he did beat Barrera but common a over the hill Barrera and im pretty sure the fight would of been a no contest since the first round, Again Does he have any Ko punching power besides beating bums? Is he another Julio Jr that just beats up on bums and then the great press makes it seem like hes the future of boxing for the British fans? The reason i Wrote this is because I have never believed that british fighters are as good as any other type of fighters and when it comes to stepping up the opposition they get owned and embarrased in front of their public, just look at the ricky hatton pacman fight ,and I always said Ricky Hatton wasn't as good as he seemed.

Sorry British People and Boxing fans but Khan is going down the same road Hatton is once he steps up the opposition, and No I am not a Barrera fan or Im just talking because im racist, This had nothing to do with anything like that, it's just my opinion. I don't think this kid is as good as he seems and the press should be real about the situation. IMO they should give more credit to Jorge Linares or James Kirkland

I have look at the Breidis Prescot Round 1 and Dont give me that Khan is a different Fighter since Freddie Roach has been training him , it is too soon to know that , and I don't think Roachs training will make his Chin also stronger

Yes Hellyeah His Chin is Weak and can't take a punch with a good natural heavy handed puncher. How do you expect him to be in big fights and beat up on guys like that have punching power, He couldn't finish a Old Barrera that could of gotten Koed since Round 2 if you ask me , somebody with a cut over their eye that can't see anything , you should be smarter and utilize that speed to finish him off! ohh i forgot Khan has feather fisted

Don't worry, it'll all subside as soon as someone sprays some more Windex on that jaw of his. Do what I do - ignore the hype. It'll dissipate soon enough.
