Why Catch Weights?

I'm so sick and tired of Manny and all of this catch weight garbage. Either you are a jr. welterweight, junior middleweight or middleweight, etc. Just because you are suppose to be the p4p king doesn't mean you can dictate and have a fighter come out of his weight class to fight you so you can get him weak and beat him. Get real this is not boxing. This is just as I stated before. Floyd didn't tell Oscar to fight him at a catch weight of 154. He let Oscar come in at his weight and still beat him. That is a real fighter and champion. Manny is just some bogus fighter that top rank has marketed to fool the the filipino audience who has never had any champions that meant anything. Watch if Floyd annihilates JMM Manny will not fight Floyd. 1) because it was a close fight
2) because margo made cotto quit and basically analized cotto
3) because mosley destroyed margo and analized margo
4) the #1 WW (mosley) vs the #2 WW (cotto) is a no brainer

for all these reasons, mosley/cotto II is the most logical fight out there.


I agree that he needs to get revenge, but like I already said, mosley/cotto II is the most logical fight at WW.

144 is a good weight for both fighters i hope it happens!!! Cotto will rehydrate and weigh in at 155 so he will be at full strenght by fight night! even though i also wanna see Pacquiao vs mayweather, to me Pacquiao vs Cotto is much more exciting!

If Manny wants to collect belts and names on his record, if he wants a welterweight on his record, he should fight him at welter, or not fight him at all. Pacman needs to fight Cotto at 147 for his title. If he want to fight the big guys, he shouldn't ask of them to go down in weight to reach him, but to go up and reach them.
