Which of these Mayweather comeback fights would you have been happiest with?

    Mayweather, Jr. v Marquez (147lbs)
    Mayweather, Jr. v Collazo (147lbs)
    Mayweather, Jr. v Quintana (147lbs)
    Mayweather, Jr. v Berto (147lbs)
    Other (147lbs) (Discounting Cotto/Clottey, Mosley & Williams)

    (Poll coming)

I'm just wondering. A while back I remember someone saying they would have preferred Floyd fight a secondary welterweight boxer (gatekeeper if you like) rather than Marquez. I disagree myself because I think Mayweather/Marquez makes for a great style match-up and will be cool to watch two massive names clashing, however I do think it's a bit disrespectful (for lack of a better word) to treat such a great boxer as a tune-up and force him to take such extreme measures to accomodate him. Also, which do you think would have provided Mayweather with the greatest challenge?

Give me some reasoning please, and try not to come in here all gung ho, with "fraud"s and "coward"s flying everywhere

You think they'd have had a better chance at beating Floyd than a 147 pound Marquez?

Reason why I'd like the Mayweather vs JMM fight is because, when everyone sees what Mayweather does to Marquez, something Pacquiao couldn't do, they'd all demand Pacquiao vs Mayweather

        Good comes out of this

Mayweather v Berto or Mayweather v Quintana would have been an awesome comeback fight!
Then fight the winner of Cotto v Clottey after or Mosley.

By the way, no disrespect intended to Berto. I realise he's a champion, not a gatekeeper.

But, well... He did arguably lose to Collazo in his last fight and I don't see him as superior to the other two.

Why does he have to come back and tune up to one of those second stringers? He's an ATG right? Ali came out of retirement to fight Frazier.

It should have been Mayweather v Cotto/Mosley. No questions. Winner could fight Pac.

I say quintana because floyd hasn't fought for 2 years but he clearly has stayed in great shape and may have been doing some sparring on the side. I still don't think a 2 yr absence is an excuse for this weight fiasco.
