Because it's called PROFESSIONAL prizefighting. It's the man's job. A job which is governed by rules and regulations. He is expected to abide by and respect those rules and regulations even when things dont go his way because he is a PROFESSIONAL.
In any other work environment....even if you worked your ass off and put in overtime....if the other guy gets the promotion instead of you...you dont walk into the guy's office, and tell him you deserved the promotion more than he did. and you dont walk into the boss's office and ask him to re-consider. That ****'ll get you fired. Why would we treat a fighter's behavior any differently?
